A Day in the Life of an Online Entrepreneur

Curious about what exactly do online entrepreneurs do all day during the week? Are we napping? Are we binge watching Netflix?? Do we wear PJs all day? These are questions that NEED answers! Lol!

Check out the video below on the day in the life of an online entrepreneur to see what it’s really like!

I started this particular day around 8:45 AM and wrapped up around 8:30 PM, but I still managed to squeeze in some cooking and exercise too, even though I was busy!! Not all days are the same at all (that’s actually one of the things I like about running a business) and not all my days are this long either — FYI.

But here’s a day I happened to capture on video for you to get an “inside look” at what an online entrepreneur does all day. Enjoy!

Start of the Day — 8:45 AM

Since this was a Monday, I started my day with coffee and doing my makeup to prepare for my weekly YouTube video filming. I batch film three videos a week for my marketing content to last for the whole week, with only needing to do my makeup once! Next, I had breakfast. I made a quick strawberry peanut butter smoothie bowl. It’s one of my favorite easy breakfasts to make! From there, I dove into finishing up the curriculum for my online course. Since that’s original, creative work, I wanted to dive into it first, while my mind was still fresh. I was able to wrap up the last few lessons to complete my course for the students enrolled.

Mid-Day — 1:00 PM

I stopped work to do my lunch meal prep for the week. I made turkey taco salad bowls. It was a pretty easy and quick meal and it was perfect to have lunch for the rest of the week! After having lunch, I dove back into work to finish prepping the rest of my marketing content for the week. I love batching ALL of my marketing content and putting it into my social media calendar for the week on a Monday, so I can simply open up my calendar and quickly post every day.

Evening — 6:00 PM

At the end of the day, I stopped working and I went for a walk at the park. I love taking walks to the park for both my mental health and fitness. It’s sooo relaxing! Once I came back from my walk, I took a quick shower and I did my dinner meal prep for the week. This particular week, I bought a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store, so all I needed to cook was a quick side dish. So I made some green beans and red potatoes to have on the side. While those were cooking, I did a bit of video editing for the videos I recorded that morning. And once dinner was done cooking, I ate and watched TV and shut down work for the day!
